Innovative solutions are required to face to the challenges of such emerging pollutants and a new advanced oxidation process (AOP), combining membrane ultrafiltration and the te-ionTM non-thermal plasma oxidation process is showing potential to be a great non-chemical, low energy process which can destroy a wide range of these recalcitrant pollutants whilst contributing to the drive towards net zero.
